Great first week

Yea, juz a brief update(real brief) on my first week of july playing nl10 6 max. I managed to review my plays for my hands of june, not all but the ones i played 6 max. I fixed alot of leaks in my 6 max game which seem to have improved my game a significant bit. Now reading some 6 max books to improve my game and i will take a shot at nl25 when i reach 500 for my bankroll and drop down to nl10 again if my bankroll was to drop down to 400. My bankroll is currently standing at 434.90.

End of June

Ok so i didnt posted for 2 weeks as during the 2 weeks i experienced a really bad downswing playing 6 max nl10 crushing my br down to like 120, so i took a break from poker, mainly cos I cant play poker anyway since I went to desaru with my family(nice lobsters anyway). After I came back from my holiday i decided to warm up by playing some sng and won a few bucks and also received some rakeback, started to grind with SSS again on nl 25 and brought my bankroll up to 220 like 4 days ago, then i started my adventures on 6 max tables again. This time its a whole different story, I basically steamrolled any player that came against me and i went sky high winning 96 bucks but well the suck outs happened again and my winnings went down to 56 dollars where i decided to stop and post this entry, so far my current bankroll is now 356, short of 50 bucks for my $400 target this month but well I was pretty happy with the results since i managed to climb back up instead of tilting and going busto =).I have decided to fully concentrate on 6 max play from now on. Anyone who wanna discuss 6max plays can also leave ur msn behind

Early morning update

These 2 days was up 35 dollars over the course of around 1.5k hands, which was pretty decent but I was not happy as I made some really bad plays or else i would be most probably up by 50-60 bucks. Received rakeback of only 10bucks this week, dunno why so little, maybe didnt play alot last week. Hence making my bankroll standing at 274.94(I won 21 cents playing 2c/5c PLO Hi too rofl)

Hope to get to at least 400 at the end of the holidays, which means also the end of the month, I would probably play like 10-20k more hands on nl25 even if i have the bankroll to move up cos I wanna make sure I rape this limit first. My rakeback next week would most probably put my bankroll at a lil bit above 300 if I were to play break even(touch wood)

Quick post

Decided to do a quick update on today's result.

Pretty good day imo juz that still got bad beated=p but whatever....if there are no bad beats then i think i also cannot eat the fishes liao since they would juz leave the poker room... Was up 25 bucks then went down to around 17 bucks like that then i decided to leave all the tables since i collected the 50 full tilt points required to qualify for the iron man challenge so that can claim the mid year bonus they are offering.

Today I am back to shorstacking but I moved up the limit to play in nl25 and not nl10, was up pretty much like 14 bucks today where 2 hands i made a squeeze with AQ and villain called with AJ. my past 3-4 days of playing fullstack in nl5 was also enjoyable and at the same time profitable as I was able to make more moves compared to shortstacking, but hell, i decided to go back to shorstacking since I would also be buying in for $5, less variance too for shortstacking as im pretty loose when i play fullstack. Current bankroll standing at $202.30 YEEEEHAW

some thoughts on the hand:
Villain was in cutoff position with vpip/pfr of 25/13 so i was pretty certain that i was ahead of his range and coldcaller had vpip of 23 which is also pretty loose, could easily have a suited connector which he would definitely fold if I do a 3 bet. So I decided to make a squeeze bet as in this position it would definitely be profitable alongside my tight image which can generate alot of fold equity. Of cos i might be in the danger of 1 of the guys might be trapping with a big pair but well, I aint gonna fold AQ against this 2 guys! ITS THE NUTS! Pretty shocked he called with AJ maybe he thought i was having a hand like KQ or maybe a small pocket pair

June so far

Decided to post this entry before i go to dinner =D

The first 2 days of june was like down for me until i tried buying into nl5 as full stack and was running pretty hot.
I started to incorporate advance moves like adjusting my raise ranges, isolating loose donkeys lol, and begin to play for implied pot odds rather than my old strategy of buying into the table with like 20 bb and playing only premium hands, maybe i will post some interesting hands later if i have the time. My bankroll now is standing @ around 140 and shld be around 150+ after my collection of rakeback later tonight. Here is my graph so far for june:

End of may

had a bad session on saturday which my first 2 hands was lost becos my JJ ran into KK twice and KK into AA..lost QQ to AK and lots more of suck outs buts in the end i was down only like $3+ which is only like 1 and a half buyin

today or maybe yesterday(cos its like 1am now =p), i had a sick run over 260 hands where i am up 14.19... and here is the graph for the month of may, I started playing cash game only like mid-may(used to play sngs)so notice the negative curve at the start and the swings followed but i slowly adjusted my play and leaks so i should be doing better at the month of june!!!

THE LONG ROAD AHEAD

Let me give a brief introduction of myself, I am 18 this year and schooling in Ngee Ann poly. I love to play RTS games like warcraft 3 and is now eager for starcraft 2 .

Started playing poker like this year after my birthday on early march and is playing on full tilt.

Started this post to track my progress of my bankroll which is now standing @ 99.71 . Here are my plans for the time being

-Grind up my bankroll playing shortstack @ nl 10 and progress to nl25 @ $150 bankroll , nl50 @ $300
-Continue to move up and start to play full stack in nl10 @ % 500 bankroll
-Start to play live games once my bankroll reach $1000, preferably nl50 live games

Long term
-Maybe able to support myself in basic ways like not taking any pocket money from parents and bus concessions etc.
-Reach 10k at the end of this year!!(maybe a little hard, i know)
